We’re busy saving Calderdale residents’ money
The Calderdale Area-Based Scheme is helping to improve 30 terraced homes that were built before 1919. These homes typically have stone walls and no cavity wall insulation. The scheme involves free upgrades such as external and internal wall insulation, loft and underfloor insulation as well as simple but effective draught-proofing. This helps to make homes warmer and more comfortable whilst lowering energy bills and helping to reduce fuel poverty.
