We're working with trusted delivery partners to help households across West Yorkshire save money on a range of energy-saving and low-carbon technologies, such as heat pumps and solar panels, through group buying.

Making home energy improvements can feel complicated and expensive. Our collective buying scheme helps people save money on the up-front costs through the power of group purchasing.

By bringing together households across West Yorkshire, we can help make home energy improvements more affordable and simpler to arrange. 

This scheme can help with: 

  • Solar panels and battery storage 
  • Air source heat pumps 
  • Electric vehicle charging points 
  • Home insulation and other energy efficiency improvements 
  • Energy tariff switching opportunities

When the scheme launches, you'll be invited to take part and provide details about your property.

This scheme builds on a success pilot scheme that took place between July 2024 and May 2025. More than 4,200 households registered their interest and the scheme delivered:
