Who we help

Home Energy West Yorkshire is here to help as many people and improve as many homes as possible. Whether you are a homeowner, a renter or a landlord, we are here to help you save energy and money.

Who we help

Our aim is to keep your energy bills low and your home warm

We especially want to help you if you are in fuel poverty, have a low income or are vulnerable in any way. Not only that, we can also help you apply for grants, funding or low-interest loans to cover some or all of the cost of any energy saving improvements.

Wherever you live, however much you earn and whatever your circumstances, you can benefit from our free impartial advice. We understand you might want us to fit into your busy schedule so advice over the phone might be right for you. If you prefer we can organise a home visit to support you with advice and recommendations. Just let us know.

Funding is available. There are various grants, schemes and low-interest fixed rate loans that you are able to apply for. Whether you qualify depends on your situation. Also, not all homes are suitable for solar panels. Get in touch to find out.

The government requires private rental properties to have an EPC of C or above by 2028 for new tenancies and 2030 for existing tenancies. So, retrofit energy saving improvements will play a big part in you achieving this EPC target.
