How we aim to do it
The Home Energy West Yorkshire team works closely with experts from Energy Saving Trust, Groundwork Yorkshire, Furbnow and Warmworks to give you free, trusted advice. Together, we can help make your home warmer and more affordable to run. We will show you how much energy you could save, help with finance options and connect you with trusted installers who can transform your home.
Step 1: Free advice
Home Energy West Yorkshire advisors are trained by the Energy Saving Trust to:
- Give clear, impartial advice on upgrades like insulation, heat pumps and solar panels
- Tell you about grants and funding to help you get started
- Help you find trusted local installers
- Send you a personalised advice summary with the best next steps for your home

Step 2: Home energy plan
Home Energy West Yorkshire offers comprehensive home surveys delivered by our trusted partner Furbnow.
This survey is paid-for and provides you with a detailed property assessment which will help you plan next steps.
There are two different options to suit your needs starting at £300.
Our advisors can help you understand your options at every stage and will never pressure you.
Step 3: End-to-end support
Home Energy West Yorkshire offers a paid for support service through Furbnow.
From assessment through to final handover, their end-to-end support ensures your journey to home improvement is smooth and delivers quality results.
